THE B.R.I.D.G.E. is a discipleship initiative from Wayne Chapel AME Zion Church, led by Pastor Sybil Kearse (MDiv), created to help young adults and college students stay rooted in Christ, grow in faith, and build meaningful relationships with seasoned believers.

This is more than a church program. It's a movement. And it's not just for our members—it's open to any young adult looking for purpose, support, and a space to grow in Christ.

• Young adults (ages 18–30) looking for purpose, connection, and spiritual growth

• College students who want to stay rooted in faith while away from home

• Seasoned believers who desire to pour into the next generation as mentors

• Supporters of generational discipleship who want to see the church revived and sustained

Whether you’re curious, committed, or somewhere in between—this first gathering is a space to learn more, ask questions, and take the first step toward building together.

Who is this for?

• A Safe Space to Grow in God.
  This is a discipleship experience designed for young adults who are ready to grow deeper in their walk with Christ—and in life.

• Monthly Virtual Gatherings.
  We’ll meet once a month on Zoom for prayer, teaching, and open dialogue centered around faith, real-life decisions, and your spiritual growth.

• Mentorship with Pastor Kearse.
  Until additional mentors are added, all young adult participants will be guided and poured into directly by Pastor Sybil Kearse. This is your space for wisdom, prayer, and guidance from someone who genuinely cares.

• Practical & Spiritual Teaching Topics:
  You’ll receive biblical teaching and group discussions on:

  • Stewardship and financial wisdom

  • Managing emotions with spiritual maturity

  • Growing as a disciple and disciple-maker

  • Lifestyle development rooted in faith

  • Hearing God’s voice and walking in purpose

• Nationwide Ministry Support.
  Even when you’re away from home, you won’t be away from Christ. Through partnerships with other ministries, we’ll help ensure you stay spiritually covered, no matter your zip code.
