At the Crossroad of Guilt and Grace
Scripture: Luke 22:14–20

This message reminded us that the Last Supper wasn't just a ritual—it was a revelation. Jesus knew His disciples' flaws, yet He still invited them to the table. The same hands that would deny, doubt, and even betray Him were the ones He washed and served. That's grace in action.

We often live at the crossroads of guilt and grace—knowing better but still falling short. Like Peter, we love God deeply but sometimes act out of fear or pride. Like Judas, we can be close to Jesus yet remain far from our hearts. Still, Jesus meets us with mercy, not condemnation.

At that table, guilt and grace sat side by side. Jesus showed that love and humility are greater than pride and performance. When He broke the bread and lifted the cup, He wasn't just giving them a meal—He was giving them a covenant.

The takeaway?

We don't come to God because we’re perfect; we come because we’re forgiven. The same Jesus who served them that night still invites us to His table today. So, before we take communion or step into worship, we should pause, examine our hearts, and remember—grace is greater than guilt, and love is stronger than shame.
